🌿Creekside Meadow Guided Meditation
Share
Begin by settling into a comfortable position. Let your body grow heavy and supported. Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow, deep breath in...
Feel the air fill your belly.
And exhale — letting your shoulders drop, your jaw soften, and your mind begin to quiet.
Again, inhale slowly…
And exhale gently, like a breeze passing through tall grass.
Now…
Begin to imagine yourself stepping through an ancient forest — soft earth beneath your feet, the scent of pine and moss in the air. The canopy above you shimmers with sunlight as it dances through emerald leaves.
You hear the gentle gurgle of water nearby, and you follow the sound.
The trees open up into a sunlit meadow. You step out into the warm glow. The tall grasses sway around you, brushed gold by the sun.
To your right, a clear creek winds lazily along smooth stones, its surface glittering like diamonds. Dragonflies flit in spirals over the water, their wings catching the light like tiny stained glass windows.
You kneel by the water, feeling its cool mist kiss your skin. Green beetles scurry over river rocks. You dip your fingertips into the current — refreshing, pure, alive.
Behind you, in the distance, a gentle waterfall spills from a rocky rise. The soft roar hums in harmony with the birdsong above.
Chickadees, warblers, and robins sing a symphony — not hurried, but in perfect rhythm with the morning.
You feel sunlight streaming through the branches above, pooling warm patches on your skin. It radiates peace, golden, gentle, like a hug from the Earth itself.
Out of the corner of your eye, a deer steps quietly into the clearing. Her eyes meet yours — calm, curious, trusting. You bow your head slightly in reverence, and she slowly continues her way to the water’s edge.
You lie back in the grass, surrounded by wildflowers. The earth cradles you. With each breath you take, you sync more and more with the flow of the stream, the hush of the trees, and the pulse of life all around.
Inhale…
Feel yourself filled with light, calm, and serenity.
Exhale…
Let go of anything you no longer need to carry.
You are safe here.
You are whole here.
You are deeply connected to the wisdom of the Earth.
Rest in this moment for as long as you’d like. Let the breeze, the birds, the creek, and the sun remind you of how deeply you belong.
And when you’re ready…
Begin to bring awareness back into your body. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Gently open your eyes.
Carry this peace with you.
